Portrait of Manat Sergazina

Researcher and educator studying student success, well-being, and the institutional structures that shape educational trajectories.

I work across the education journey, from early childhood to higher education, with a focus on how institutions support, or fail to support, students through critical transitions. My research has informed national education policy and produced Kazakhstan's first child-voiced well-being dataset, drawing on both large-scale quantitative analysis and grounded qualitative work.

I have analyzed institutional data on thousands of students, providing higher education leaders and professionals with meaningful recommendations on student experience and persistence. I teach advanced English, language teaching, and educational technology at Maqsut Narikbayev University.
